Message from Principal Meng
6th grade Camp: Our 6th grade campers will return tomorrow around noon. We are asking parents to meet on the turf field. We will bring students over there to find you. Before you leave, check out your student, collect meds and pick up luggage. Tables will be set up for medications and checking out students. Luggage will be in the parking lot.
PBMS Music Association will have their next meeting on Monday June 12th @4:30 at The PB Fish Shop on Garnet. Feel free to order food/drink before or after the meeting and bring a friend or spouse/partner. All are welcome!
School Funding: If you have not completed your LCFF form for PBMS on PowerSchool, don’t worry! We are sending paper forms home on Monday, June 12. Please complete the form and have your student return it to their 1st period teacher. Why? The State and Federal governments provide extra funding to schools serving students with the biggest needs. Federal funding is called Title 1 and State funding is called LCFF. PBMS lost all of Title 1 funding for this year and had a small reduction in LCFF funds. We can get the funding restored for the 24-25 school year if we qualify based on your income range and family size. This month, your child will receive an LCFF Form for you to complete and return. You can also do this online in PowerSchool. Here is the JOB AID, We are expecting 100% completion. We missed qualifying for Title 1 funds by just 6 students. Portal NOW OPEN in PowerSchool.
7th Period: We will not have scheduled classes for 7th period on Monday 6/12 or Tuesday 6/13.. The dismissal time for all students will be 2:45pm. Again, please note the last day for 7th period was today, June 8. We will not have 7th period on Monday 6/12 or Tuesday 6/13.

Sports Physicals for 2023-24 - All students who plan to participate in a 2023-24 sport must complete a physical dated June 5, 2023 or later and complete Athletic Clearance registration. Reach out to your Fall sport coaches or our Athletic Director with questions. More information about Athletic Clearance can be found on the Athletics website.
